Project Manager Data & AI

Your role

We are looking for a ambitious Project Manager to join our fast-growing Analytics & AI team at element61. In this role, you’ll take the lead on some of our most strategic and impactful projects—helping clients turn data into value, with the support of a top-notch team of experts.

You’ll be the glue between our client stakeholders and our internal consultants, ensuring projects are delivered on time, in scope, and on budget with a smile from everyone involved. You’ll be coached and supported by our Project Management Lead, who will guide you with best practices and advice while you grow into an increasingly autonomous project manager role.

This is the ideal role for a project manager with a passion for Analytics & AI, who thrives on teamwork, ownership, and delivering real business value.

Your responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end delivery of medium to large Analytics & AI projects for enterprise customers

• Manage project scope, planning, and budget – including change request processes, resource planning, and cost control

• Set up and run project governance – from recurring status meetings to steering committees

• Work closely with clients and internal experts (Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Analytics Architects) to drive clarity, structure and progress

• Be the go-to point of contact for stakeholders across business and IT. Spot risks early, flag them clearly, and keep things moving

• Help define and refine project delivery best practices within the team

• Support pre-sales efforts with realistic scoping & planning input

• You are already residing in Belgium

• 3+ years of working experience

• A genuine interest in data, analytics or AI – you don’t need to code, but you get what it’s about

• Passionate about team success by bring structure, clarity & overview in budgets, timelines, resources & scope. Experience in project management a plus, preferably in IT, data or digital consulting.

• A structured mindset, but with flexibility and pragmatism when needed

• Strong stakeholder management & communication skills.

• Eager to grow and learn from a strong internal network of delivery & technical experts

• Fluent in English and Dutch or French a must.
